Day 10/50: My first hand-made bouquet!

I woke up at 7am today, so I couldn’t try fitness blender’s new workout.. sad :<

Fast forward to 10.30am and I was searching through the pile of wrapping papers for my flowers.

I bought a beautiful bouquet yesterday for my friend’s mom cause she sorts out my face problems AND it was her birthday last week!

For a week, I was wondering what to buy for her and ended up thinking of flowers. Because, hey, if she didn’t like it, she’ll only have to keep it for a week 😀 see! not so dumb after all.

I told you it was a pretty bouquet!

And so TADAA! our bouquet of roses, carnations and baby’s breath.

Yey.

and so I made my first bouquet of flowers for half an hour before leaving at 11am for my appointment ( I almost forgot about my present…and my mom was laughing when I went out the door saying:” OMG you don’t want to take your present??” …yeh..cause I spend half an hour preparing a gift just so I can forget about the most important part – giving)

After laughing at myself, I left and arrived shortly with flower in my hand. I started having anxieties, like shit, this is the worst gift ever. It’s useless, you can’t even eat it,  i should have bought a cookie or sumthn. sheitsheitsheti..

When I gave it to her, she smiled and thanked and everything. *inner sigh of relief* Then she told me that it was the first bouquet of flowers that she’d ever received in her life. Omg, my heart broke (in shock and slight sadness). So she really reallreally did like the bouquet and not just politely like it, but really it made her happy! And that made me happy and warm and fulfilled.

Truly, one does not know whether the joy in giving belongs to the giver or the receiver, but I suppose that is the greatest beauty of a gift. 🙂

Btw, she does a damn good facial for an even better price. So you can pm her for an appointment (and maybe send her flowers too! 😛 )
